Composing for the screen, Liam’s films include Last Passenger, starring Dougray Scott, Earthbound starring Rafe Spall and David Morrissey, The Puppet and Faeries of Blackheath Woods, directed by Ciarán Foy, Ghostwood starring Patrick Bergin, produced by Ned Dowd, Razor Fish starring Brenda Fricker and La Jalousie, directed by Helen Williams, Girl With The Mechanical Maiden, directed by Andrew Legge. Other films include music for Show Girls directed by Paul Verhovan, Circle of Friends starring Chris O’Donnell, Colin Firth and Minnie Driver, Don Juan De Marco starring Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando, The Shell Seekers starring Vanessa Redgrave and the romantic comedy Leap Year, directed by Anand Tucker, starring, Amy Adams, Matthew Goode and Adam Scott.
As an arranger, orchestrator and conductor both in the concert hall and in the recording studio, projects include those with Pete Townsend, Nancy Gustavson, Luciano Pavarotti, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Bryan Adams, Dave Stewart, Michael Kamen, Elliot Goldenthal, Rachel Fuller, Alisha’s Attic, Lesley Roy, Texas and Máiréad Nesbitt.
Liam’s Christmas musical NOËL, written with Artemis Fowl author Eoin Colfer, completed its first North American tour at the end of 2018. They are currently writing The Long Mile Road, which will premier in September 2019.
Awards include a Promax World Gold Award for Best Original Music for his score, Part of Life, an IFTA nomination for Earthbound and a World Soundtrack Award for his film score Last Passenger.
More recently commissioned concert works include Heroes of the Helen Blake, Angel, Child of Creation, Vivo and Elegy. Liam’s choral music is published by CAILINO MUSIC PUBLISHERS. His music for the film Last Passenger is published by BUCKS MUSIC GROUP.
