Composer Assistant Bursary Opportunity 5

Please note this opportunity is only open to composers who have not previously been the lead composer on a TV Drama Series or who have been successful in SCGI composer bursary award previously.  

  

Placement Details:

·      Six weeks averaging 1/2 days per week

·      Start date: As soon as possible

·      Location: Hybrid between Dublin city-based studio/online

·      Associated Production: TV drama series for UK production company.

 

Gear Requirements:

·      Laptop and good wifi essential

·      Protools set up an advantage but not necessary.

 

Skills Requirements:

·      Some basic experience writing to picture.

·      Proficiency in Pro Tools and Logic (essential.)

·      A good knowledge of audio and video files and formats (with any kind of video editing a bonus)

·      The ability to work quickly, diligently and to meet deadlines under pressure.

·      We would love to meet someone with a big interest in technology who writes original music in innovative, exciting ways.

 

Tasks will include:

·      Exporting and preparing stems for delivery in studio using Pro Tools and Logic on a mac.

·      Exporting video files for director and channel previews.

·      Preparing cue sheets

·      Preparing Logic and Pro Tools files.

·      Documenting spotting sessions
