Bjorn Baillie

Bjorn Baillie is an Irish songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Delgany, Co.Wicklow. He has lived and worked in Dublin, London and Los Angeles producing music for advertising, television and film. 

 He has worked with clients such as Bank of Ireland, Dulux, Sky TV, Fifa, Payless Shoes and had music featured in many US tv shows and films including Vampire Diaries, The O.C., One Tree Hill, The Tyra Show, Gossip Gilr and Life UneXpected.

 Bjorn’s music career began playing drums at age 14 and formed his first band which played shows across Dublin until he switched to guitar and formed his next band- La Rocca – in Cardiff in the late 90’s.

 In 2001 he moved back to Dublin where he began to compose for advertising and scored a nationwide campaign for Bank Of Ireland, while still writing and touring with the band.

 La Rocca signed a record deal with LA-based label Dangerbird Records and so began 5 years of living and working in the US – touring the bands 2 albums to much acclaim across the world. As sole songwriter, Bjorn worked closely with the top music supervisors on tracks for major network television shows and films, as well as writing sessions with many other artists. 

In 2010 he moved back to London where he began session work at the renowned Kensaltown Studios and began composing for short films, advertising and online campaigns.

In 2016 he released his debut solo record – Vista – and toured Europe in support of the record.

Bjorn currently lives in Lewes, on the south coast of England and composes original work across all content as well as new project – The Jonah Medal – which is releasing new music
