Emer Landers

Emer Landers is an Irish composer who has written music for film, television, and video games. Inspired by her passion for thematic film scores and musical theatre, she composes melodically driven pieces that range from solo piano to full orchestral arrangements, often enriched with textural synth elements.

Her score for Jason Branagan’s “Forever Hold Your Peace” was nominated for Best Score at the Underground Film Awards 2022 and the Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival 2023. She also collaborated with BAFTA Crew alumni on “Bach is Blue,” which premiered at Latitude Festival in 2021.

In 2020, she won 3rd Prize at the International Pannonia Film Music Competition, and her music has been performed at the National Portrait Gallery in London. She has contributed to numerous production music albums for West One Music Group, Felt Production Music, and others, with placements on channels such as Disney+, ESPN, NBC Sports, Sky, NFL, Channel 5, Great American Family, and France 3.

Emer has scored video games including “Universal Monsters Online,” “Dark Orbit,” and “Uridium Wars” for Bigpoint Inc., and “Forge” by Dark Vale Games. She has also written original songs for animation with Wildbrain Spark.

She is passionate about collaborating on projects across all genres and continues to expand her career internationally. Emer serves on the Board of Directors for the Screen Composers Guild of Ireland and is a member of IFTA. She works as a tutor with Thinkspace Education and holds an MMus in Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music and a BA in Music from Trinity College Dublin.
