Hugh Drumm
Hugh started out in pop bands in the mid-1990s and was signed to Mother Records and UK label Deconstruction. After writing music for TV programmes such as Fair City, he decided to focus on writing music for picture. He set up Sponge Music with Stephen Rennicks with the intention of writing music for TV advertising. Over the years, he composed music for many major brands such as Meteor, BP, and the National Lottery. More recently, Hugh has written scores for a number of feature films both as a co-composer – for films such as Man About Dog, The Pipe, Hardy Bucks, and The Stag – and as a solo artist for films Memories of Miss Moriarty, A Date for Mad Mary, and Notorious: Conor McGregor.
