Karima Dillon El-Toukhy
Karima is a multi-instrumentalist, creating music, foley and sound design for TV and theatre, and award-winning film and animation shorts. She has work screened at Irish festivals such as Galway Film Fleadh, Kerry Film Festival and Dingle Animation. Screenings abroad include the Venice Film Festival and On Art Film Festival Poland.
She has performed and recorded with bands of varying genres, worked as a session musician in recording sessions as well as sound tech for theatre productions and sound engineer for live music events.
She has a Research Masters degree in Music Composition for Visual Media and Bachelors degree in Creative Music Production.
She lectures in music in IADT, and in film and animation sound in Pulse College Windmill Lane.
