Composer Assistant Job Placement opportunity:

Please note: This opportunity is only open to composers who have not previously been a lead composer on a TV Drama Series or feature film with full orchestral recording in line with the qualifying criteria for SCGI bursary award.

Placement Details:

• 4 weeks averaging 30hours per week

• Start day from January 10th (depending on production)

• Location: Remote working for London based composer. All activities will be online

• Associated production: Hiring composer is scoring a animated series for Netflix

Gear Requirements:

• Dropbox

• Logic Pro

• Sibelius

• Zoom

• Access to good bandwidth broadband.

Skills Requirements:

• Proficient Knowledge of Symphony Orchestra

• Proficient use of Logic Pro

• Proficient knowledge of Sibelius

Range of possible tasks Required:

Transferring midi orchestrations from Logic Pro to the latest Sibelius in order to be sent for orchestration.

Work will be supported by initial training from lead composer and access to zoom shadowing opportunities of other work. Great opportunity for composer to looking to learn on the job experience of composing and preparing for full orchestra recording.
