The Screen Composers Guild of Ireland are delighted to present as part of their Delivering the Music series, a skills workshop with world renowned forensic musicologist Peter Oxendale B.Mus., G.R.S.M., L.R.A.M., M.A.E. in IMRO, Copyright House, Dublin 2 Friday 6th September, 3pm.

Peter Oxendale is one of the world’s foremost forensic musicologists, a leading expert on music copyright and it’s legal aspects. In this workshop Peter will discuss the various aspects of copyright, how copyright works and how it relates to composers for screen.

He will look at the impact of recent legal verdicts in various territories and how these have affected composers and the music industry as a whole. Peter will end his talk with a Q & A session.
